Brakes

A brake inspection is performed to estimate the condition of the braking system. This includes removing tires to inspect lining and pad friction material thicknesses, checking for leaks and binding, inspecting brake lines and master cylinder area for signs of leakage. Pad and lining thicknesses are reported in percentage remaining. Needed brake services are determined and presented after a brake inspection. A typical front brake service would be replacing brake pads, lubricating caliper slides, resurfacing or replacing brake rotors.
